I am writing to inform you that I found a dentist on your website, Dr. Maite Moreno in Tijuana, Mexico, and I thought you should know that I am very happy with the work she performed on me. Also, many dentists in America were hesitant to take my case because they were afraid of commiting a serious error, such as hitting a nerve in my teeth, etc., as my condition has caused my teeth to be extremely fragile. When I sought the help of Dr. Moreno, she did not hesitate to take my case. In fact, she was excited to do so and she immediately went to work on a plan of treatment for me.

She found a way to correct my bite without me having to get braces or the costly surgery. My teeth now look like real teeth, if not even better, and I had no pain while I was under her care. I think Dr. Moreno should be recognized as a top dentist in her country and should be allowed to lecture at American Universities so that she can show future Prosthodontists how to handle rare cases such as mine.

Were you pleased with the treatment?

I first contacted Doctor Moreno over a year ago after receiving several opinions and quotations to remove all of the teeth in my upper arch, place implants and install a full prosthetic arch.

I made an appointment for a consultation, and after reviewing the x rays and the cat scan I brought with me to the appointment I was scheduled to have my teeth removed and implants installed. When I showed up there was two other dentists there.

Dr. Moreno went to work, and after about thirty minutes she tapped me on the shoulder and said Mark I cannot pull these teeth, they can be saved. I was shocked at first since I had received so many other diagnostics telling me that my teeth could not be saved. Dr Moreno asked the other doctors if they concurred, which they did. I made a decision to let her try to save my teeth not having any idea at that time what that would entail. In other words I decided to put a great deal of trust in in Dr. Moreno.

Over the next seven months she performed a series of bone grafts on all of my teeth. After six months I became disheartened as there was no visible improvements and I had spent several thousand dollars. The doctor kept telling me that she had restored a great deal of bone and that my teeth were improving. I was having a hard time believing her and came to the point where I was ready to give up. We had an argument when I insisted she just pull my teeth and proceed to install prosthetics.

The Doctor broke down into tears, saying all she was doing was trying to save my teeth and I just needed to let her. It hit me like a ton of bricks at that point that she sincerely cared and was going to do what she believed was the right thing. It also dawned on me that it would have been much more profitable for her just to pull my teeth out and put implants in.

I then said to her:

“You are a prosthodontist with the heart of a periodontist.”

About a month later I had the opportunity to make a presentation that was critical to help further my business and was desirous of having a smile and teeth that would give me confidence. I called her up and asked if she could accelerate my treatment essentially doing in a few days what was scheduled to happen over several weeks. She said she would make it happen.

I was scheduled for two appointments consisting of about 12 hours each. After the first appointment when she had worked for close to 12 hours on my mouth she actually drove me home from Tijuana to San Diego at 1am in the morning! The final result was she completed the work and my smile looked great, and my teeth felt solid for the first time in years!

Dr. Moreno by here perseverance proved to me that her internet moniker “Miate Cares” is much more than a moniker, and is really a proven truth. I now have my own teeth, they look great, and the ultimate cost was less than implants. Dr. Moreno could have gained more profit off of me than she did, but because she does care and has skilful hands she re-built my mouth and I have real teeth in my mouth and a much improved smile.

Were you pleased with the treatment?

Dr. Maite Moreno is a fabulous doctor. She made me feel like at home. She really knew how to explain the procedures. It was just like going to any other Dental office here in the States. I needed a few things to be done. Root Canals, Porcelain crown, 3 unit porcelain bridge and teeth whitening. The laboratory technician she used; absolutely awesome. The front porcelain crown that was done looked as natural as my neighboring teeth. I highly recommend any one who needs to see a Dentist here in Tijuana, especially with high prices in the States, you cannot go wrong. If I ever need some more treatment for myself, I will continue going to Dr. Moreno's office. As far as any one saying that Tijuana is not a good place to visit, I do not think it's true .Dr. Moreno's office is just 5min. From the line and they have no problem picking you up at the line. She also offers medical passes for those who come across by car. The location looks very safe as well.

Were you pleased with the treatment?

Dr. Moreno gets more done in one day than most dentist, because she has to. Dr. Moreno is very professional and accommodating. I am able to eat an apple without cutting into small pieces and I know that my teeth look great! Dr. Moreno on my first visit (took x-rays and ctscans) outlined how long my proceedure would take and how many visits and cost. She deals with americans, canadians and europeans comming down for dental work.

Would you recommend the clinic?

To all of you North Americans out there who thought about getting implants but couldn't afford it, Dr. Moreno's clinic in Tijuana and Guadalajara may be your answer. It sure was for me. I had a full set of teeth (16 implants, 24 teeth) replaced at half the price quoted in the USA. Dr. Moreno has a Master's Degree in Prosthodontics from University of Michigan. She replaced my false teeth and gave me a new smile. The last time I went through border check, they asked what was the purpose of my visit and I replied dental and the border patroll lady said your teeth looked Great! My only regreat was I did not do it sooner. My brother will come see Dr. Moreno.

Were you pleased with the treatment?

This is an overdue review for Dr. Moreno. Dr. Moreno has been working in the dental field for 35 years and she is incredibly knowledgeable in all aspects of dentistry. First of all, thank you Dr. Moreno for everything you have done for my dad! I am very happy with the outcome! With his new teeth, his profile is now corrected and he finally has an ideal vertical dimension. He is currently practicing on how to chew as these teeth are still new. I also noticed a big change in his speech! My dad has a mandibular porcelain bridge supported by 6 implants and a upper denture supported by 4 mini-implants. We had to make a few changes in the treatment plan along the way but the cost had stayed relatively close to the initial quoted price. Dr. Moreno is very dedicated, extremely meticulous in her work - a perfectionist i might say, understanding, caring, personable, very funny and flexible with your schedule. She has a very warm personality and will make you feel like you are at home. Once she starts the treatment, she will work tiredlessly the entire day to save you a few trips crossing the border. I usually drive straight to her office as the office is located only 3 miles from the border (usually takes me 10-15 minutes from the border to her office). She will give you a medical/dental fast pass for your way back to the States. Also, communication is always pleasant; Dr. Moreno will answer your calls and reply your e-mails within the day. Aside from delivering her expertise in implant and prosthetic dentistry, she also lectures at schools and dental laboratories in Mexico, the States and several countries around the world. My dad is almost done with his treatment and I can't wait to see the final results! Thank you again, Dr. Moreno.

Were you pleased with the treatment?

One year and a half ago I had 4 implants installed in my lower jaw, by Dr. Moreno. My sister had a set of dentures done at the same time, She is very satisfied with them and she paid less of what she would had paid in Montreal. In my case, the implants are working fine after a year and half. She worked around my overbite for my upper partial, where there was almost no space. It's easy access to her office, when I drive, in Mexico. Finally, she gives me a medical fast pass, what makes a difference in my return to the USA. Thank you Dr. Moreno.

I sought a consultation for the removal of wisdom teeth for the orthodontic process. Dr. Moreno was knowledgeable and patient, she took the time to study the pictures I had and explained the extraction process. After my consultation was over, I was more than pleasantly surprised when Dr. Moreno offered to drive me to the office of her orthodontist peer. Together, I had a comprehensive analysis of both dentistry and orthodontics. Dr. Moreno comes highly recommended!

Were you pleased with the treatment?

I needed 2 root canals and 2 crowns. Not a nice thing to have to go through, but Dr Moreno is very reassuring. I paid a fraction of the cost I would have in the US (I'm in San Diego) she filled out our insurance paperwork as well and we were reimbursed at the standard rate same as for a US dentist. She's a great Dr who is good with people who have underlying medical issues for exams I had a parathyroid adenoma that left my bones weakened. When I looked for someone who knew how to deal with that type of issue she was the only one who specialized in that type of care within a 200 mile radius! Who cares if she's in Tijuana! She's the best and it turns out she too had her own bout with thyroid issues with the scars to prove it. She teaches at the University of Southern California of how to manage patients with complex medical issues. Wonderful staff and Doctor! Works on Saturdays too, but books up fast so don't wait or hesitate to call her.

Were you pleased with the treatment?

I highly recommend Implant Dental Center in Tijuana. I had 4 root canals, 8 crowns and a bone graft. I had expected I might need to have some teeth extracted and have implants but Dr. Moreno saved all of my teeth. I had the best outcome I could have hoped for at less than half the cost an inferior treatment would have been in Los Angeles. I don't think you could find better care at any price. I will be going to Dr. Moreno in the future and will definitely recommend her to all my friends.
